Bit Systems, Inc, a CACI Company, is seeking a Systems Engineer to work in our Sterling, VA office.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Leading the creation of requirements, architectures, CONOPs, test plans and procedures for a variety platforms and missions.

  • Develop and track requirements.

  • Develop operational CONOPs and document the results.

  • Prepare and execute test plans and procedures.

  • Work with the development team to perform system testing throughout the lifecycle of the project.

  • Participate in customer demonstrations of prototype hardware.

  • Develop design review documentation.

  • Develop system test procedures.

  • Prepare monthly status reports for the customers.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • BS degree in engineering discipline

  • 5+ Years of relevant experience in systems engineering and integration of complex systems

  • Exposure to all phases of product development (concept, design, implementation, test, and production)

  • Ability to design, develop and demonstrate hardware capabilities

  • Ability to support CONUS site surveys to assess suitability for system installations

  • Ability to rack, wire, connect, install and perform on-site testing of system hardware components

  • Working familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Visio

  • Must be mechanically inclined

  • Interpersonal skills required to work with others and communicate effectively

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure for quick-reaction projects

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Must be organized

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • MS degree in engineering

  • Experience with Linux

  • Programming skills in C, C++, and Python

  • Familiarity with radio frequency (RF) systems and test equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, etc.)

  • Understanding of software defined radio systems

  • Hands-on prototyping and assembly experience
