Bit Systems, Inc, a CACI Company, is seeking a Systems Engineer to work in our Sterling, VA office.
What You'll Get to Do:
Leading the creation of requirements, architectures, CONOPs, test plans and procedures for a variety platforms and missions.
Develop and track requirements.
Develop operational CONOPs and document the results.
Prepare and execute test plans and procedures.
Work with the development team to perform system testing throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Participate in customer demonstrations of prototype hardware.
Develop design review documentation.
Develop system test procedures.
Prepare monthly status reports for the customers.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
BS degree in engineering discipline
5+ Years of relevant experience in systems engineering and integration of complex systems
Exposure to all phases of product development (concept, design, implementation, test, and production)
Ability to design, develop and demonstrate hardware capabilities
Ability to support CONUS site surveys to assess suitability for system installations
Ability to rack, wire, connect, install and perform on-site testing of system hardware components
Working familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Visio
Must be mechanically inclined
Interpersonal skills required to work with others and communicate effectively
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure for quick-reaction projects
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be organized
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
MS degree in engineering
Experience with Linux
Programming skills in C, C++, and Python
Familiarity with radio frequency (RF) systems and test equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, etc.)
Understanding of software defined radio systems
Hands-on prototyping and assembly experience
