Job Description

What You Will Do:

  • Lead a small team of technical experts in DoD and IC systems architecture, cloud technologies, and associated application services. Work may include discovery and adoption of emerging solutions or prototypes to fulfill emergent operational requirements.

  • Work with a team of engineers, developers, and administrators supporting the JDISS baseline architecture and migration into a cloud-based services environment.

  • Perform software integration / development related to sustaining and enhancing the JDISS suite of application and services deployed at all Combatant Command Locations.

  • Perform integration and development of user training solutions for new JDISS capabilities.

  • Support operations and maintenance for the JDISS environment, including database support, development and testing support, and help desk operations.

  • Develop and record software corresponding to each software unit in the design.

  • Code computer instructions and data definitions, building database, populating database and other data files with data values, and other activities needed to implement the design.

  • Make all necessary revisions to the software, perform all necessary retesting, and updated the SDFs and other software products as needed, based on the results of unit testing, unit integration and testing, and system qualification testing.

  • Prepare for software use in each build should be interpreted to included those activities necessary to carry out the fielding plans for that build.

  • Prepare the executable software for each user site, including any batch files, command files, data files, or other software files needed to install and operate the software on tis target computer(s).

  • Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

What We Need From You:

  • BS in IT or hard sciences and 7 years of direct experience leading IT system work involving virtualization, cloud services engineering, web applications, systems integration, and related software development.

  • 10 years of same experience in lieu of BS.

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

  • Active TS/SCI security Clearance.
