The Administrator will work on sfdc support tickets and on the design, configuration, testing, documentation, and deployment of CRM solutions on the platform. The objective of this job is to partner with our internal customers (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Support, and Leadership) and help drive key initiatives to enable growth and/or reduce cost. In addition, the focus will be to drive user adoption and improve the overall user experience and be able to better serve our external customers. This role will help define and refine our CRM strategy.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Partner with internal customers at all levels, ranging from leadership to end-users, to identify and address areas of improvement, additional functionality, training and support.

  • Determine, document and communicate user and system requirements, processes and standard procedures.

  • Apply business analysis, organizational and technical skills to improve efficiencies through development and adoption of best practices and standardized procedures.

  • Configure and deploy solutions to internal customers as per business and system requirements. This will include system configuration, external integrations, reports, dashboards, workflows, external system integrations, user administration, managing fields/relationships, approval processes, page layouts, security, validation rules, email notifications, custom buttons/links, etc. Ensure data security is enforced by the use of roles, profiles, and sharing rules.

  • Provide day-to-day end user support for the environment.

  • Utilize project management skills to manage the full life cycle of small to medium sized projects.

  • Communicate project and task status to the rest of the team, leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Participate in project selection and ranking process.

  • Lead and/or participate in data conversions/migrations as required. Develop and help enforce best practices for master data management and governance.

  • Provide training of users at all levels in the organization, ranging from 1-on-1 training to training for medium sized groups (30-40 users).

  • Collaborate with other business units that share the instance.

  • Partner with other divisions within the company to ensure successful collaboration and sharing of data, contacts, leads, procedures, processes, knowledge and more.

  • Travel required and includes domestic as well as international destinations. Travel requirements vary and typically do not exceed 10%.

  • Document solution approaches for developers to develop or enhance custom objects, Visual Force pages, APEX classes, and triggers and services.

  • Prepare documentation as needed including functional specifications and test scripts.

  • Perform unit testing and fix any defects in admin configurations. Support the user acceptance test activities.

  • Configure working prototypes in a development sandbox if required, and validate and refine prototypes.

  • Create Change Sets and deploy from the development sandbox to the fulldata sandbox.

  • Leverage comprehensive understanding of products and platform to recommend solutions and enhancements that would address business needs.

  • Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the data to support additional business processes or functions.

  • Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills and detail orientation with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of overall work experience in IT or business analysis roles, with 5+ years administering

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.

  • Administrator certification.​ Advanced Administrator certification preferred. Platform Developer certification is a plus.

  • Ability to work in a team, to understand business requirements and convert them into a functional design, and to collaborate with business analysts and users to define solutions.

  • Ability to apply sound judgment and decision making skills in dealing with a variety of routine and non-routine tasks. Must be able to complete tasks in resourceful and effective way and work on assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative and impact analysis.

  • Experience with data management/de-duplication tools. Exposure to the data model, data architecture, and data management.​

  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the platform coupled with a good understanding of common business processes.​ Must be a confident self-starter individual who can completely own the delivery of high value work products.​

  • Self-starter and have the capability to understand the SFA/ Service solutions implemented and also the customizations. Capable of independently developing and implementing SFA/ Service solutions.

  • Planning and analytical skills as well as the ability to communicate ideas and plans verbally and in writing.

  • Understanding of key architectural concepts (e.​g.​ API, governor limits, and test coverage) and how they influence design.

  • Strong problem solving skills with a willingness and ability to learn new software features.

  • Ability to read and understand Apex and Visualforce page is a plus. Programming experience on the platform and experience with integrations with sfdc are pluses.

  • Nice-to-have skill: Exposure to some or all of the following: SOAP integrations, Lightning components, Salesforce mobile platform.
