and IT. To accelerate the largest deals across APAC we seek applications for an
elite team of Enterprise Architects.
The team features senior IT architects, ex Head of IT
Architecture and ex CTOs, with significant experience of helping businesses
transform their IT approach – for example by moving to a standardized,
cloud-based, more agile IT estate, involving application modernization and
rationalization or exploitation of Digital technologies.
This team of is an intrinsic part of the Sales team and
have a single focus on positioning Oracle’s Solutions at the heart of the
largest Transformation projects.

individuals. They combine a
deep understanding of technology, applications, industry best practices, business processes and
architectural patterns to drive IT transformation initiatives that meet the
business objectives of our customers.
The team specifically:
Articulate casefor change
Conduct repeatablestrategy, architecture, roadmap and planning workshops – especially JourneyTo Cloud
Provide assessmentof current state architecture and recommendation of future statearchitecture
Provide detailedsizing and associated justification
Identify andevangelize key business and technology benefits of adoption
Provide roadmap andmigration methodology and identify quick wins
Advise onorganizational impact of solutions
will be seasoned senior level professionals who not only possess deep
experience with technology transformation but also significant experience in
applications and significant sales leadership experience.
The role is predominately a Sales Consulting Management
Recruit and linemanage team
Establish X-LOBsales governance and transparency process
Establishreporting, governance and prioritization of OEA engagements – to beconsistent with all other regions
Contribute to anddrive largest Oracle X-LOB deals in Japan and ANZ as directed by country/clusterboard with rigorous sales focus.
Work incollaboration with Japan and ANZ leaders – RMDs and LOB (X-stack –applications, technology and systems), Global Client Advisors, Insightteam leaders
Encourageand exercise creativity, independent judgment and business acumen in selectingmethods and techniques to design non-routine and very complex businesssolutions utilizing Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs.
Interact with seniorroles at customer – including CIO, CTO, IT Architects, technical staff andBusiness leaders
Play an activerole as part of the Japan and ANZ architecture community
Remain fully awareof relevant architectural programs and assets from Oracle worldwide
Remain aware ofall relevant product developments and references – both at Oracle and atcompetitors
Wide background including architecture,implementation and delivery of large‐scale cloud-based hardware andsoftware systemsin real-world situations
Wide knowledge ofIT market and trends
Knowledge of fullOracle stack (ideally)
Detailed knowledgeof Oracle cloud solutions
Some specificknowledge of Oracle applications
Some specificknowledge of Oracle and competitor hardware solutions
Some specificknowledge of Oracle database and middleware technology

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Manages and directs a staff of solution specialists and/or managers in providing specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales territory. Establishes and communicates departmental objectives and implements plans to ensure attainment of business objectives. Works closely with sales management to ensure proper utilization of resources and provides justification for additional resource requests. Oversees the Interaction with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Develops forecasts. Participates in industry/product functions, seminars and round tables to remain up to date on industry or product knowledge. May deliver presentations/solutions to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important.
