We have an opening for a Research Associate to join our Sydney office. The Australian and New Zealand teams are part of a global network of leading economic and industry experts. They provide in depth technical analysis, expert advice and testimony in areas such as: Antitrust and competition, including mergers; energy and telecommunications; environmental regulation and financial market litigation. Responsibilities will include analysis of a range of data; design ing and building quantitative models and applying econometric analysis to economic and financial data; collecting market, industry, company, and competitor information; reviewing, summarising and analysing industry trends; managing large data sets and writing programs to implement complex analysis in Stata, SAS or R; creating trial exhibits; drafting memos; and participating in team meetings and conference calls. This is a team-based, multi-task environment that requires precision work that is both qualitative and quantitative, often with tight deadlines.
