Cloud Platform Solution Lead - Oracle Digital Prime
Oracle Digital Prime Technology organization is setting up a new team of Cloud Platform Leads in JAPAC. This strategic team will drive Go to Market strategy in accordance with mid-market needs. In this exciting role, you will develop a programmatic Cloud Technology Platform sales proposition and collaborate with sales teams to engage with our customers . You play as an ‘Cloud Technology Evangelist’ to mentor and set the direction for sales, marketing, partners and other supporting teams.

Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle cloud technology to mid-market in JAPAC through programmatic sales approach.
Creation of market specific Cloud Platform sales kits, customer messaging and sales enablement in JAPAC.
Engage with customers in 1:1 and many formats to promote Oracle Cloud solutions, determine/create business needs, create/identify/expand Cloud Platform opportunities.
Work closely with JAPAC ODP Sales Programs Office to align messaging and formats of business development activities to market needs and solutions specifics
Engage with existing and prospective Oracle Cloud partners to grow Oracle Cloud ecosystem.
Mentor and coach sales teams to improve Cloud Platform knowledge and solution selling skills.
Develop and deliver high quality presentations, workshops and demonstrations to customers and partners, persuasively articulate Oracle Cloud value to customer business.
Present and articulate advanced solution capabilities, future direction and organizational benefits.
Evangelize Oracle Cloud Platform offering and sell the vision of building and migrating enterprise applications and software towards Autonomous Cloud Services.
7 years’ experience as a technical specialist/consultant/architect in Customer-facing roles with special emphasis on cloud, networking, migration to cloud.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to meet with and present to C-level executives to articulate the message and vision clearly.
Good understanding of cloud industry and technology trends, usage trends, competitive buying behaviors in both mid-market and start up world.
Good understanding of typical IT infrastructures, spectrum of solutions in use.
Strong knowledge of Cloud platform technologies (IaaS and PaaS).
Experience working with sales teams or being in sales roles.
Understanding of business processes and drivers, ability to communicate with business users.
Ability to understand and effectively communicate the value of Oracle's Cloud portfolio.
Excellent leadership, influencing, organizational skills to work in a matrix environment across multiple teams. Strong focus on results and execution.
Demonstrate the ability to solve complex technical problems with customer accounts.
Ability to travel regionally on business needs.
IT BS degree or equivalent.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
