Position Title Senior EIA Specialist, Philippines
Philippines - Manila
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform as Assistant Project Manager for the following environmental services:
Initial Environmental Examination Checklist
Initial Environmental Examination
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
Other environmental studies that may be assigned
Draft and/or review technical reports.
Integrate reports from sub-consultants.
Provide accurate and professionally responsible outputs on program and on budget.
Assist in preparing and packaging proposals.
Perform fieldwork activities including liaising with various government officials or representatives, and corporate representatives. Maintain harmonious client relationships at the project and local market level.
Coordinate with various accredited laboratories and agencies for purposes of testing.
Perform business development activities such as arranging logistics and schedule meetings with potential clients, assistance during presentations, and in networking with various corporations and various organizations to be able tap potential clients.
Ensure the relevant QA procedures are followed without exception.
Education, License and Experience Required:
A Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or any related field.
At least 6-8 Years of professional related experience in renewable energy projects (e.g. waste-to-energy, solar, wind, etc.) and transport projects
DENR Registered EIA Preparer
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities Requirement:
Knowledge of environmental impact assessment methods, environmental monitoring procedures and protocols, environmental audit protocols, environmental site assessment methods and protocols.
Knowledge of Philippine environmental codes, laws and regulations.
Able to find opportunity and cooperate with the members of other groups.
Maintain harmonious client relationships at the project and local market level.
Maintain work within project budgets.
Always keep commitments, particularly time and cost commitments.
Technical writing and presentation skills
Computer literate; knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, statistical analysis
Conduct and analysis issues on multiple projects
Commit activities with limited supervision
Perform varied and complicated tasks.
