HCA hospitals currently train more than 2,650 residents and fellows with that number growing to 5,500 by 2020.

In partnership with the Division Vice President of GME, theDivision Director of Graduate Medical Education (ADME)will have a detailed understanding of ACGME requirements for all specialties and a working knowledge of resident assessment tools (e.g. New Innovations), ERAS, NRMP, board certification requirements, rules regarding International Medical Graduates, visas, licensure and ABMS testing. This position will require the ability to manage complex systems, integrate into diverse teams, and develop forward thinking solutions.

Further, the successful candidate will: * Assist with planning, development and marketing of new and existing programs

  • Assist with recruitment of key personnel, including physicians, coordinators and others

  • Be knowledgeable regarding residency budgeting and financials and assist with budget development

  • Support program activities as needed in the areas of resident recruitment, retention, curriculum development, scheduling, resident assessment and reporting

  • Assist program coordinators and directors with annual reporting

  • Assist with the creation of consortium wide policies and procedures

  • Assess and address programmatic issues

  • Represent the UCF/HCA consortium at local, regional and national conferences through conference participation submitting presentations or posters when applicable

Minimum Qualifications: Master of Health Administration or equivalent degree Three years of experience in GME, preferably in a management role Demonstrated ability to self-direct and manage complex programs Strong communication skills

This position is in Tallahassee, Florida in the offices for the North Florida Division. Regional travel will be required, generally not more than biweekly.
