A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.
Our Finance Operations team manages PwC’s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As a part of our team, you’ll assist us with budgeting, reporting, business operations, domestic and international accounting operations, and finance strategy.
As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
Train and lead staff
Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
Managing and identifying areas of opportunities for process improvements, focusing on projects designed to drive efficiency, consistency, and quality within the billing and collections process;
Serving as a point of contact for LOS Finance teams to elevate B&C issues;
Liaising with client service account teams around billing and collection inquiries;
Connecting between Finance, engagement teams, and collection functions, helping to resolve inquiries around cash applications; and,
Improving reliability of cash projection process.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
Identifying and remediating issues related to billing and collections;
Understanding of Firm-wide business intelligence resources such as Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik, and other visualization tools;
Employing data analysis techniques to identify areas of opportunities for process improvements, focusing at client and billing partner levels and then determining next steps;
Providing Data analysis and recommendation for resolution of foreign accounts receivable balances, providing account teams with follow-up on disputed or overdue invoices;
Analyzing and identifying areas within A/R and WIP aging and collection performance that require attention;
Utilizing and applying end to end project and program management and stakeholder management; and,
Developing work plans, managing project scope, secures resources with successful project delivery.
