As a key member of the Marketing Mgmt team, direct the development of company marketing programs.
Direct all marketing activities within the context of the overall corporate plan for the achievement of short and long term business objectives, increased profit and market control. Be an active member of the global Marketing team to ensure consistency of marketing campaigns and messages. Disseminate key corporate information to the geography operations pertaining to new product development/launches. Liaise with management to ensure that marketing activities are in support of sales plans. Direct marketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate marketing mix for the geography. Ensure consistency between global directions and single-geography / product implementation choices. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns on a geographical basis as needed. Maintain necessary contact with major suppliers, agencies, customers, industry associations and government representatives to achieve marketing objectives. Provide effective performance management: set clear goals for all staff, provide regular feedback on performance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscal year. Manage the activities of the staff according to overall marketing strategies and budgets. Implement organizational changes in line with changing business and market needs.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Software business management experience. Sales and Marketing experience in the IT industry. E-business Internet practical know-how. Professional credentials in Marketing, Academic credentials desirable. Past experience in Sales desirable.

Brand Creative Strategist

This role is part of the Oracle Brand Creative management team responsible for ensuring the Oracle brand values are tangibly expressed across corporate identity and marketing initiatives, through relevant and compelling brand architectures, themes, names, and creative in support of a broad portfolio, for a broad range of audiences.
Lead by identifying trends and defining new standards; excel by breaking them when they become irrelevant. Leverage your proven talent and extensive experience in brand strategy, brand architectures, messaging frameworks, and copy development. Partner with design leaders and practitioners to break new ground in brand storytelling and brand experiences through a diverse portfolio of initiatives, creative, and media.

Direct Strategic Brand Management
1 Assume the role of brand storyteller and evangelist, blending positioning, messaging, and industry trends into a clear, tangible narrative that will be shared with colleagues, stakeholders, and agency partners
Interpreting market strategy from Product Management and Marketing teams
Partnering with Communications leads to validate and expand impact of brand proposals
Influencing creative execution of proposed brand strategy and positioning
2 Design, curate, and maintain an integral Oracle brand architecture and develop supporting messaging frameworks, focusing on:
Clarifying the relationships and hierarchy of Oracle s brand portfolio
Participating in product, event, and program naming, positioning, and
Helping define acquisition brand integration
Monitoring, adjusting, and negotiating strategic portfolio shifts coming from executive leadership
3 Stewardship and training of Oracle brand voice
Consulting with Marketing, and enterprise at large to ensure their communications are on brand
Consulting with global agency program to ensure their executions are on brand (one direct report)
Publishing regular updates of brand strategy and creative through multiple channels
Oversee Product Brand Name List Management (two direct reports)
1 Guide and influence curation and administration of master official brand name list

Oversee Creative Writing Lead (one direct report, open)
1 Development of brand copy for strategic program positioning and product offerings

Key brand copy points (though not extensive marketing asset decks)
Oversee Digital Content and Collaboration Lead with UX team (one direct report, open)
1 Collaborate with UX design lead and team, and extended publishing team and web strategist on digital content strategy and content for interactive projects
Extensive hands-on experience in managing enterprise-scale brand portfolios
Proven track record of key messaging and strategic positioning
Experience in creating public-facing taglines, copy points, headlines, web copy, and other brand marketing assets
Understanding of digital content strategy and its relationship with UX and design
Experience working within and navigating fast-paced, opinionated, multi-layered, distributed organizations
History of conceptualizing and translating complex ideas into clear brand narratives
Comfort and experience in speaking to groups of colleagues and stakeholders
Proven experience in crafting and executing communication plans to accompany branding and design project roll outs
Creating new ideas from scratch or based on complex, ambiguous briefs
Conducting competitive research and critical analysis
Leading reviews with stakeholders and executives
Writing with brevity, energy, and clarity
Providing critical, constructive feedback to creative design and writing teams
Maintaining positive collaboration with a network of teams and stakeholders
