Negotiates, competitive and complex healthcare contractual relationships with providers according to pre-determined internal guidelines and financial standards. Manage tactical day to day relationship with assigned providers.

Fundamental Components:

Position will be focused on hospitals/hospital systems and may also include complex physician and ancillary providers.

Manages provider compensation/reimbursement and pricing development activities.

Understands medical cost issues and how to develop action plans.

Initiates legal reviews as needed; ensure all required reviews completed by appropriate functional areas.

Facilitates resolution of complex provider issues.


Strong communication, critical thinking, problem resolution and interpersonal skills.

3-5 years related experience, proven and proficient negotiating skills with desire to grow.

Ability to negotiate contract language and understand provider reimbursement impacts.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
