Job Description

Network Information Security organization is tasked with designing, implementing and maintaining information security capabilities and services for the PwC Network of member firms. The organisation consists of highly skilled information security professionals across the globe that are focused on developing a leading security program across the Network of Firms, to foster clients’ trust in our ability to secure their most sensitive data, to better position PwC to address clients’ evolving needs and to harmonize the internal firm security strategy with client services go-to-market strategy. The group is leading PwC's Network Security Transformation Programme, which is a multi-year programme to enhance existing capabilities and build new capabilities to combat the ever more complex cyber threats.

Information Security Strategy creates and manages strategic relationships where the PwC Network of Firms can leverage the firm’s product and/or service internally and then co-sell the service by partnering PwC lines of service. The team works closely with internal functions such as IT, office of the general counsel, subject matter specialists across the lines of service, as well with the advisory, tax and assurance lines of service. The team will also work closely with the security leadership team to identify the subject matter specialists needed to successfully execute the partnerships.

Position/Program Requirements

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 2

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs in the following areas:

  • Understanding information security strategy, metrics and reporting, business analysis, or related technical domain and applying to solve business problems and deliver necessary results;

  • Understanding information security program strategy, priorities, and structure;

  • Incorporating existing Firm knowledge, subject matter, or technical domain specialization into work activities;

  • Understanding strategic initiatives and implications to messaging in a global organization;

  • Resolving challenging problems in collaboration with others and take initiative when appropriate to make independent choices on matters of significance; and,

  • Influencing others within their own functional area or team.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs in the following areas:

  • Performing and interpreting business analysis processes;

  • Building or coordinating components of a reporting program;

  • Tracking maturity using common information security frameworks (ISO, COBIT, NIST);

  • Translating technical concepts into business impact;

  • Building and maintaining relationships across a broad spectrum of lines of service and business units;

  • Working with and managing expectations of multiple stakeholders across functional and technical skillsets; and,

  • Communicating the importance of metrics and working with stakeholders to identify what is important to measure.
