The DevOps Engineering and Operations (DOE) communication team provides communication support that enables DOE initiatives and BAU activities to be conducted in a consistent, quality manner. The DevOps Engineering Communications Consultant will be responsible for working with the DOE team to provide effective communication and documentation to Doe internal and external stakeholders including, but not limited to, information provided on SharePoint, Confluence, direct emails, and training session. The DevOps Engineering Communications Consultant will:

  • Define communication strategy, templates, and procedures.

  • Design, write content for, and manage DOE portals (SharePoint, Confluence, etc.) for internal (team) and external (customer) audiences.

  • Develop internal and external newsletters, direct communication (emails), and policy communications.

  • Develop, or direct the development of, documentation and communications in support of key initiatives.

  • Provide oversight, templates, and guidelines for customer-facing project communications/documentation

  • Create, or direct the creation of, DOE process and procedure documentation

  • Facilitate development of training materials

  • Manage email distribution lists

  • Develop management presentation materials, including PowerPoint presentations and supporting documents.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

  • 3+ years of experience creating, managing and executing communication strategies

  • 3 + years of experience writing and editing internal communications and training-related materials in a corporate environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • 1 + years of Confluence WikiD experience

  • SharePoint experience

  • Communication exposure; preferably within Wells Fargo
