The Housing Manager is responsible for maintenance and upkeep of CBP Houses in Piegan, MT

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing move-in and move-out inspections

  • Completing and obtaining signatures for Occupancy Agreements

  • Submitting work orders to contractors for involved, major maintenance

  • Reviewing and approving completed work

  • The scope of the light maintenance duties for this role includes the following:

  • Plumbing repairs

  • Heating and air conditioning inspections, filter replacement and minor repairs

  • Minor electrical repairs

  • Appliance repair and replacement

  • Replacement of outdated appliances

  • Replacement of window screens

  • Grounds maintenance, grass cutting and snow removal, on an as needed basis

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Three or more years of experience in Housing/Leasing Management.

  • Prior experience with DHS/CBP is desired

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely implementation of assigned projects.

  • Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and part of a team.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
