We’re seeking an expert in information reporting, with a flair for business. This is a chance to play a role in driving performance at Shell, whilst developing your career within a supportive, global company.
What’s the role?
As Reporting and Management Information specialist, you’ll be creating financial reports for senior leadership teams, identifying opportunities for improvement that will meet business targets, and highlighting any problems that require addressing.
To succeed, you’ll need to be comfortable optimizing your knowledge and experience to work in a highly sensitive role within a multi-application and cross-functional environment. You’ll use your expert insight to assess and manage critical situations, co-ordinating with many team players to maintain and restore normal IT service.
More specific duties will include:
Ensuring quality assurance, compliance and technical integrity.
Co-ordinating and monitoring data distributions, data archiving, and other activities relating to the application environment.
Ensuring that end-to-end performance is monitored and maintained.
Naturally, you’ll be a strong self-starter, confidently navigating project challenges and conflicting demands, and comfortable with influencing others.

What we need from you
Along with your Bachelor’s degree, we’ll expect to see evidence of your people management skills, preferably working in a global, regional, or virtual environment, across diverse cultures. Fluent in English, you’ll excel with your interpersonal and communications skills, with proven experience of conducting staff reviews, coaching and sharing knowledge. Beyond that, we’re keen to talk to men and women with as much of the following on your CV:
Knowledge of Excel, SAP Netweaver, BW/BPC, EPM and SAP BI4 Reporting (or equivalent).
Knowledge of financial processes related to management reporting.
Proven experience in an application support environment or in managing a support team.
Experience with project co-ordination and/or participation is also an advantage.
An understanding of the ITIL processes, e.g. incident management, problem management, change and release management.
