    Position Summary: Performs direct patient care through utilization of the nursing process in accordance with the California Nurse Practice Act, physician orders, hospital policies and procedures, and established professional standards. The RN is responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe, competent care either through direct delivery of that care or appropriate delegation and for performance improvement and quality initiatives as appropriate. .

    Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. Current RN license by the Board of Nurse Examiners State of California. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR Card. Grade point average of at least 3.0 from the school of professional nursing. Must have graduated from nursing school no more than 12 months prior to the start of the Nurse Residency Program. Must complete the HealthcareSource Staff Assessment.   • Copy for your current RN license by the Board of Nurse Examiners State of California

  • Copy of your Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR Card

  • Three Letters of Recommendation (at least one letter from a previous nursing instructor).

  • A two-page essay describing your motivation for participating in the program, and explaining what you will bring to the Los Robles nursing team.

  • School transcript from a U.S state-approved and accredited nursing program, showing a minimum GPA of 3.0.

  • Proof of having graduated from nursing school no more than 12 months prior to the start of the Nurse Residency Program.

  • ACLS required for ICU, Tele, PCU & Float Pool position.
