Eaton Corporation Quality Assurance Engineer in Titchfield, United Kingdom

The primary function of this role is to ensure the compliance to regulatory, industrial and customer requirements. Along with the support of New product introduction and key special projects. This role will also involve the transition to AS9100 rev D and control of internal / external audits. It is vital that the person have excellent communication skills to be able to effectively communicate internal and external customers as well as upper management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute QA activities

  • Oversee QA activities and maintain robust processes to ensure strict quality standards for quality and reliability are maintained

  • Maintain and develop QMS to ensure compliance

  • Develop processes and tools associated with New product introduction and key projects

  • Quality point of contact regarding New product introduction and key projects

  • Develop management systems and performance measurement dashboards to transparently track and report on progress and result metrics.

  • Knowledgeable in regulatory and AS9100 requirements

  • Monitor testing and analyze data to assure compliance to the established requirements. Review and approve test reports.

  • Host and conducted internal / external audits along with maintaining audit schedule

  • Maintain a safe working environment by providing adequate precautions to tests in process. Design safety into every test and activity. Safety / 5S+ champion.

  • Actively pursues changes to improve quality, performance, cost reduction, and standardization through analysis of designs and problem solving techniques. Suggests alternative methodologies or techniques to achieving desired results.


Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in related subject or equivalent experience

  • Registered to recognized Quality approval body such as CQI

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a quality assurance aerospace environment

  • Must be legally authorized to work to ITAR

  • Lead Auditor
