Supply Chain Transition Program Manager
Working for Eaton’s award-winning supply chain team. You will be responsible for taking awarded suppliers through the supply chain transition process.
Your key deliverables:
Lead and Support Site SCM & virtual IPT in the creation, monitoring, control of Transition programs/projects.
Maintain the part number database and schedule by following the established best in class processes in alignment with the Supply Chain procedures & training guides.
Develop and maintain the program Data Analysis and reports that will enable functional leadership to readily access the health of the projects and take corrective action as required.
Provide critical path analysis, schedule change impact statements and schedule recovery planning support to the Plant.
Provide data for End customer program reviews.
Forecast resource requirements and resolve resource conflicts.
Assist the project team members in the development of their specific task scheduling capabilities through mentoring and/or practice skill development.
Forecast, provide and maintain the program milestone attainment metrics on a regular basis.
Ensure correct project governance is taken in Sourcing and project execution and Implementation
Ensure as a voting member that Projects meet the standards required at Divisional Gate Reviews in accordance with Eaton Standard process
Manage other department and team duties as required & related to reliable on time program execution
Do you have a PMP Project Management Certification?
Ideally experience within the aerospace industry, we would also look at people from Hydraulics and Automotive
Ideally you will understand corporate or project finance
We are looking for someone with experience of working across a cross functional team.
Strong problem-solving experience
Strong internal management and communication experience
Strong planning experience
Supplier management experience
A solid understanding of procurement, not hands on experience needed
Experience of PRO Launch
Project Planning experience
An exposure to engineering
