The Solution Consulting Success Specialist is charged with building repeatable
and scalable programs to drive sales motion and develop solution consultants in
the GBU in the Japanese market. A major
focus of the role will be to help support a surge in growth in region and drive
the global consistency and adoption effort of the NetSuite SC best practices
for the Pre-Sales Solution Consulting Organization. Solution Consulting is
redefining how we deliver value in the pre-sales cycle by partnering with our
prospects and customers to deliver industry leading practices in the solution
cycle to help reduce risk and increase time to value. We are looking for an
experienced leader to join our growing team to help us to scale our onboarding
program and have an impact across all of our programs and initiatives. This is
a crucial hire for our team as it is part-time leader, part-time sales coach,
part-time program manager and part-time designer. This is an ideal role for
someone who wants to mold and grow an organization while also working very
closely with the Sales and the Services organizations and their respective
Key Job Responsibilities:
Leadthe onboarding program for the Solution Consulting Japan team, owningresponsibility for adoption in the pre sales organization in the regions and working with international teams forsupport.
Work in a team to design,develop and deliver SC training content, including discovery, alignment,objection handling and other key sales process skills, via webex, phone callsor live training ensuringconsistency in the region and application of best practices
Develop and deliver specific SCtraining at regional training events for all new hires
Evolveall SC development programs to align with the short term and long termstrategies of the business to help drive consistent, profitable growth inrevenue
Collaboratewith subject matter experts and Centres of Excellence to develop content andlearning paths for onboarding and broader enablement across a variety of areas,such as buyer personas and industry deep dives
Partnerwith cross functional teams to develop and roll out appropriate additions tothe core program to supplement competitive, value, etc. messaging.
Act ascoach and mentor to assist in deal activity for new hires and provideactionable feedback and support with additional learning as necessary.
Participatein the broader development programs for the global NetSuite pre-salesorganization
5-8 years inhigh tech company
3-5 yearsworking for an enterprise software company in a presales role is preferable
2-5 years experiencein an enablement role mentoring others
2 years experienceworking with NetSuite
2 years in ateam lead / project manager role
Experiencein leading and mentoring others
Understandingof how software technology is used to solve business problems, with domainexpertise in at least 1 or 2 industries (e.g., software, services,wholesale/distribution, etc.)
Excellentpresentation and communications skills; ability to assimilate complex conceptsand clearly articulate business value
Ability towork and communicate well with various stakeholders from cross departmentalteams and leadership
The abilityto partner well with teams and drive projects forward is essential to thesuccess of this role
Ability toprovide feedback, coach, lead and evolve the success of a program with verticalstakeholders
Competency andinterest in current tools set (Captivate, LMS experience, WebEx) is a plus
Previousexperience and the ability to supervise a group or lead a program/project
Bachelor’sDegree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professionallevel
Travel isapproximately 25%
Must bebilingual speaking English and Japanese

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
