BMO’s Analyst, Information Security Metrics Manual Reporting is part of the Information Security (InfoSec) team at BMO, which reports into BMO’s new Financial Crimes Unit. The FCU aims to be the preeminent cyber detection and prevention centre in Canada. The InfoSec team within FCU is mandated to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of enterprise information by developing and implementing strategies that protect our customers and enable BMO’s lines of business to operate securely in an increasingly interconnected and digitalized global environment.

As a key member of the InfoSec Metrics and Analysis team you will drive the retrieving, consolidation, and reporting of manual data elements for use in InfoSec reporting. Working with partners across the team, you will proactively reach out, gather data, and work with your team to turn that data into presentations and reports for use by various members of the InfoSec team. With a strong set of organizational skills, and effective skills creating presentations using PowerPoint you will work to ensure information is produced in a timely manner to our partners. You will work with the InfoSec metrics leadership to address the needs of the InfoSec team in both strategic, and day to day matters.
Producing manual reports for use by the InfoSec team in monitoring: KPIs, KRIs and operational metrics
Connecting with partners on an ongoing basis to improve the quality of the report outputs
Conducting quality checks and review of team outputs to ensure accurate information is sent out
Collaborating with the metrics team in driving the CISOs key priorities
You are enthusiastic about InfoSec – With an education in business management, or communications, you have a passion for learning about new fields such as InfoSec. Experience working in information security or financial services is an asset
You are a problem solver – You thrive on being challenged and solving puzzles, and possess a deep appreciation of the complexity of Information Technology and InfoSec.
You like to analyze business problems and build solutions that improve security and create remarkable customer experiences. You have strong project management and time management skills
You are a persuasive communicator – With highly developed communication skills (both verbal and written)
