The Application Developer, Microservices analyzes and translates IT requirements using modernization frameworks into components of a modernized solution. S/he has expertise in legacy asset analysis, code restructuring and refactoring, code conversion and business logic extraction into executable business rules. They have expertise in one or more legacy platforms and integration and service exposure mechanisms to interface components for reuse by Systems of Engagement. They are familiar with development and testing of applications in cloud environments. They participate in Delivery/Engagement teams. They also reuse and enhance Digital modernization assets, methods and collateral.

What you’ll do:

  • You will develop models and builds scalable Microservices components/API (Application Programming Interface);

  • Develop models object for Oracle NoSQL DB (Structured Query Language Database);

  • Build integration flows on various API (Application Programming Interface) development platform.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in analyzing and translating IT requirements using modernization frameworks into components of a modernized solution;

  • Has expertise in legacy asset analysis, code restructuring and refactoring, code conversion and business logic extraction into executable business rules;

  • Has expertise in one or more legacy platforms and integration and service exposure mechanisms to interface components for reuse by Systems of Engagement;

  • Familiar with development and testing of applications in cloud environments. Participates in Delivery/Engagement teams. Reuses and enhances Digital modernization assets, methods and collateral;

  • Expertise in developing applications using Microservices related platform and tools Spring Boot, REST API, DevOps, Continuous Integration, Agile delivery.
