Marsh & McLennan Client Representative - U.S. Primary Casualty in Toronto, Ontario
Contributes to revenue growth by assisting in the implementation of insurance solutions that meet clients’ needs. Supports client facing professionals within the team.
Collection of renewal information from clients and Marsh client executives.
Preparation of coverage specifications and submissions.
Assists with the review and analysis of quotations.
Completes Loss Forecasts.
Assists in producing client proposals and presentations.
Accountable for coordination of binder & invoice issuance and creating/updating Client Service Instructions.
Prepares premium allocation and risk allocation for clients as needed.
Reviews and analyzes policy audits and adjustments.
Reviews and verifies insurance policies for accuracy, coordinating corrections, preparing policy transmittal letters and delivering of policy documents to the client.
Formatting of spreadsheets, word documents, presentations etc., liaising with Client Support Services, Xerox and Graphics as needed.
Works directly with the Client Executive and Client Advisor to provide our clients with the best possible service.
Develops an understanding of the clients’ business priorities and risk management needs.
Provides quality day-to-day service on client deliverables.
Provides assistance with coverage questions and program adjustments; solves problems regarding client account issues.
Provides necessary information to operations to create account information in databases and updates information as needed.
Supports Client Advisor.
Key liaison/role for process and activities supported by Client Support Services including Certificates of Insurance and Auto ID cards.
Understands and complies with Marsh Compliance and Transparency Standards.
Ideally, a minimum of 2 years progressive Client Representative experience in commercial lines.
Holds appropriate broker’s license(s) for the Province of Ontario
Possess a solid understanding of basic casualty insurance principals and risk management concepts.
Superior computer skills with proficiency in email, word processing and spreadsheet software, as well as working knowledge of presentation software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff.
Results oriented with a strong client service focus.
Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment.
Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlines.
Solid analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities and projects with a high degree of detail and organization.
Strong customer service orientation.
