Marsh & McLennan Delegated Solutions Trade Operations Analyst in Toronto, Ontario

Delegated Solutions Trade Operations Analyst: Do you have investment management operations experience? Are you detailed oriented? Do you enjoy being part of a small, dynamic team? Mercer Global Investments Canada Limited (Delegated Solutions) is a portfolio and investment fund manager that runs a global multi-manager business and is looking for a Trade Operations Analyst. Delegated Solutions specializes in developing and managing multi-manager product solutions for clients across a range of asset classes and risk profiles. The Trade Operations Analyst will manage all aspects of client cash flow management as well as product/client trade order management. This includes monitoring the workflow of trades from initiation, allocation, approval, execution and settlement. The successful candidate will work closely with the Investment team, Client implementation team and client custodians. The Analyst will have direct oversight and full operational responsibility for client accounts that require daily oversight. This includes reconciliation of a specific client set (Dynamic De-Risking Clients) including cash flows, liability inputs and bond indexing. The Analyst will assist with daily trading and processing. Reporting to the Centralized Implementation Manager for Canada, responsibilities will focus on the daily trading functions. The role will include but is not limited to: Daily oversight of order management and all aspects of daily trading including cash reconciliation, trade execution and management of outgoing wires Manage final execution and communication of product/client trade order management Daily review of outsource provider data input Collaborating with team members to meet service level agreement and escalating when required Daily monitoring, analysis and recording of client custodian cash positions to ensure that they are: captured for trading liability calculations and cash requirements Reviewing changes to client assets on a daily basis to ensure that changes to market values and prices are within tolerance Direct responsibility for providing the operational oversight to accounts including Dynamic De-Risking Clients’ accounts Reviewing daily third party positions and ensuring the appropriate updates have been made to Charles River Investment Management Solutions Analyze reconciliations of client custodian holdings to third party vendor systems Review and process custodian invoices and subadvisor invoices Special projects Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in relevant finance, economics or related discipline 1+ year experience in Mutual Fund/Portfolio Manager business with focus on institutional client account support Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills a must You are flexible regarding working hours in order to meet service levels Strong Assets Cash flow management experience Charles River Investment Management Solutions experience Trade management experience (securities and funds) Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills What makes you just right for this job?
