The Innovation and Transformation Manager is responsible for executing and coordinating bespoke, differentiated and immersive IBM experience’s which will drive value to deliver new logo acquisition. This role is responsible to ensure effective and highly efficient delivery of Knowledge Exchange sessions in collaboration with IBM service line teams. This role requires strategic business acumen and collaboration with multi-divisional teams to present current and future state opportunities that illustrate IBM’s market leadership position and demonstrate IBM’s commitment to emerging technology eco-system development.

This role requires exceptional communication skills and experience working with senior executives across various industries. A detailed oriented individual will have experience to think beyond traditional technology solutions, and an experience developing insights and analytics that can drive business units forward in a practical and innovative manner.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, Design and facilitate immersive Knowledge Exchange experiences that demonstrate IBM’s solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes in a compelling manner

  • Partner with IBM Account Leads to fully understand the pitch or client project to plan impactful client engagements; leads discussions with Account Teams before, during and after Knowledge Exchange sessions

  • Work with IBM Service lines to source internal content to support and craft messaging grounded in C-suite relevant client challenges

  • Liaise with Global IBM Innovation Lab emerging technology centers, incubators, accelerators and Government/University programs to identify relevant ventures to include as part of the eco-system/Knowledge Exchange experience and demonstrate IBM’s commitment to innovation

  • Leverage IBMs global research resource base and demonstrated expertise to curate bespoke Knowledge Exchange experiences based on unique industry, client problem and desired outcomes

  • Generate insights from Knowledge Exchange interactions to improve IBM’s understanding of current business needs and inform on potential new offerings and GTM messages

  • Provide support to center facilitators to ensure operation of all technology onsite, and support workshops and speaking events with material development and projection

  • Detailed documentation of the Knowledge Exchange workshop content to enable access for Global IBM GTM teams

  • Manage budgets, procurement and invoicing of materials and partner sponsorships with IBM internal teams

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience of communicating (Written and Verbal) with strong client presence experience with C level (VIP) clients and their requirements

  • Strong understanding of business strategy, technology and industry trends and key supporting ecosystems

  • Broad knowledge of Business Transformation, Digital Technologies and Emerging Technologies

  • Familiar with good design process, innovation methodologies & tools, agile, storytelling, data and analytics tools and approaches

  • Experience in Workshop facilitation and creative collaboration

  • Great relationship builder and collaborator across IBM, the client, and 3rd party vendors

  • Adept at managing multiple projects / work streams simultaneously

  • Experience and success in pre-sales execution for large corporate accounts across industries

  • Highly organized self-starter and project manager

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience working in digital services, strategic management consulting sales and/or delivery

  • Experience in marketing, sales or implementation for global enterprises

  • Understanding of frameworks for emerging technology, and familiarity with start-up eco-systems

  • Broad understanding of technology solutions supporting digital business transformation and depth of DCX experience

  • B2B marketing experience to drive brand awareness and sales leads

  • Strong network, with understanding of relevant experts in key areas and naturally curious about exploring trends in technology
