The Internal Marketing Communication will provide specialized consulting and project management for various types of internal communications projects, including creating custom communications strategies that support the Canadian Team’s business objectives. The goal is to help his/her internal clients communicate with employees strategically and effectively, resulting in increased employee engagement and enhanced business results. Depending upon need, the internal communications manager may work with internal leaders for businesses and functions (on the global, regional, or market level) to communicate strategically and effectively with their employees on organizational initiatives. To fulfill this role, the Communication Manager will:
Work with leaders and members of Canadian leadership team to establish and implement an overall communication strategy and accompanying communication materials for leaders, supervisors and employees on various organizational initiatives. This includes:
Crafting and writing communication strategies and plans and may include managing junior members of the KM team. Managing projects effectively, delivering on time and within budget, using appropriate resources, anticipating risks and developing mitigation strategies Use strong editorial and proofreading skills to review all communications distributed within Canada to a broader employee group Design, write, review and edit effective copy, utilizing appropriate media for project objectives and audiences. This can include:
Creating and maintaining online content, designing web pages, writing, updating and publishing content. Partnering with intranet editor (and future editorial board) to plan and develop content for global pages.
