Marsh & McLennan Senior Workforce Strategy Consultant in Toronto, Ontario

As a Senior Workforce Strategy Consultant, you will be the expert advisor in the design of data structures and also to autonomously perform statistical analysis, and statistical testing, using Statistical Analysis Software. You will play an integral role in preparing client deliverables by creating new slide templates and new SAS code to produce displays for client reports. You will apply your in-depth knowledge to partner closely with senior consultants to determine the appropriate analytical approach at the beginning of a project and lead clients in resolving data issues and serves and the primary technical contact throughout the entire project. . As a Senior Workforce Strategy Consultant you will: Partnering with senior consultants, this position is responsible for brainstorming and determining the analytic approach and appropriate project plan for prospects and clients Manage client projects by: Leads clients in resolving data issues that have arisen during review of submitted client data. Serves as the day-to-day technical contact to address issues or discrepancies with data. Expert advisor and lead in workforce analytics and planning projects, and proposal development. Performs advanced statistical analysis, including regression modeling and additional statistical tests using SAS. Independently develops customized client reports based on outcomes of statistical analysis. Additionally, creates new slide templates and SAS code to produce displays for client reports. Indirect management of junior staff including peer review and oversight of data structures being built by junior analysts. Leads the design of new tools/protocols for future use by annotating and generalizing SAS code so that it can be leveraged in other projects. Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications: Demonstrable record of conducting complex empirical analyses Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Ability and initiative to advance independent tasks as time permits Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work closely with other team members and handle certain client interactions is crucial Some supervisory or training experience preferred Exceptional statistical background, especially in multiple and logistic regression analysis Expert in working with large data sets using SAS/base and SAS/stat Self-direction and self-motivation (must be fully able to work without supervision BA /BS, preferably in quantitatively-oriented social science field (e.g., Economics), business, mathematics, or statistics and 8+ years of experience Preferred MA/MS or Ph.D. in economics, I-O or related psychology or labor relations (other social science PhDs with strong quantitative backgrounds will be also be considered) At Mercer, we make a difference in the lives of more than 110 million people every day by advancing their health, wealth, and careers.
