A Resiliency Risk Officer is responsible for applying Resiliency Risk knowledge and expertise to assist with Second Line of Defense activities.
Being IT resilient means being prepared for any type of disruption – planned or unplanned – to mitigate the risk of downtime so your focus remains on projects that drive transformation. It ensures business keeps moving forward, and, in fact, can accelerate transformation by letting you proactively see and adapt to changes to prevent disruption.
Ensure the GRC framework incorporates resiliency controls that meet and exceed customer (internal and external) expectations as well as understand the risk associated with Information Risk, Technology Risk, Fraud Risk, Security Risk and Data Risk
Consistently applying the framework to provide a real-time view into the state of resiliency risk
Ensure global, regional and local Technology Risk initiatives are aimed at improving our baseline on information protection, resiliency and controls of technology processes and services
Ensure gaps are communicated with key stakeholders to drive risk mitigation and remediation
Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or relevant educational and professional experience
Strong knowledge and experience in Resiliency Risk and disaster recovery
Advise in transforming traditional disaster recovery (DR) solutions to secure, agile, scalable, always-on, cloud-first environments. Assess, design, and implement resilient architectures for clients across a diverse set of technologies including cloud, big data, risk sensing, and advanced security technologies.
Advise clients in implementing innovative risk management organizations and processes which drive resilience across the enterprise.
Support response and recovery activities for high profile technology disruptions including cyberattacks, natural disasters, man-made disasters, and other crises scenarios.
Engage in war-gaming, technology transformation, resilience assessment, resilient design, impact analysis, risk analysis, service continuity, plan documentation, and testing and failover automation activities.
Build and nurture strong client relationships and participate in proposal development efforts
