What you’ll be doing...

We are looking for a strong leader who will drive business initiatives as Verizon continues to transform itself! This is a unique opportunity to join the Verizon Business Operations team as we gear up to support the build plan for our One Fiber program.

This position will be located in Tulsa, OK and will oversee a group of contractors who will support our field technicians on site during the One Fiber launch. Other aspects of the position include support for the Lead to Succeed (LTS) program in addition to One Fiber PMO Team support. Daily center work to include training compliance, metric monitoring, maintaining the contractor work schedules, field and partner escalations, tracking absences and completion of timesheet approvals. This is a fast paced environment with plenty of variety.

  • Perform productivity assessments, and proactively evaluate, analyze, and recommend solutions to provide a differentiated service experience to Verizon’s customers.

  • Provide transformation leadership in support of organizational strategies and good practices to create efficiencies within the business that scale to support growth.

  • Translate business requirements into practical application partnering with leadership, partner centers, and field technicians to establish and implement objectives that achieve organizational goals in the areas of: cost reduction, workforce management effectiveness, and the ability to execute on customer commitments.

  • Perform data analytics/metrics management, and effectively drive change across the enterprise.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary, including weekends and after hours.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Five or more years of supervisory experience in a network, field operations, or related environment.

  • Five or more years of experience in administering processes and policies as they relate to a center environment.

  • Five or more years of experience and knowledge of the following: FiOS systems with specific knowledge around Business Digital Voice (BDV).

  • Five or more years of technical knowledge, specifically basic power knowledge, fiber optics installation, maintenance, voice and data services.

  • Critical thinking skills to solve both strategic and tactical challenges on a daily basis with advanced skills to perform complex work; requires ability to provide clear and timely responses and feedback.

  • Experience managing budgets, operating margins and financial controls; and strong organization skills that focus on attention to details.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Project Management processes.
