Verizon Senior Billing Analyst in Tulsa, Oklahoma
What you’ll be doing...
We help the biggest names in business do business and billing them correctly is a vital part of the customer experience. You’ll ensure that our Indirect Agents are invoiced correctly and in compliance with their contractual commitments. When customers have questions about their bills, you will collaborate across functions to resolve them. Your role is critical in ensuring that our customers receive their wireless equipment purchases accurately and timely while finding Verizon easy to do business with. The successful candidate will also be responsible to ensure our customers/agents remit payments for equipment within contractual payment terms.Under moderate supervision, this position performs complex research and resolution, strategic project support and analytical assignments as an Individual Contributor. The role will include working with the team as the Lead Analyst to provide training including the creation of training documents and key desktop procedures as well as assist in distributing and ensuring daily work is completed timely.
Supporting daily invoice generation including gathering billing data and assuring billing accuracy.
Reviewing and researching complex technical data issues to identify and resolve errors and billing variances.
Processing and reviewing customer credits and monitoring contractual commitments.
Monitor and manage projects related to invoicing, equipment returns and collections within the Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains A/R and Billing system as well as the SAP systemfor inventory management.
Producing standard, non-standard and complex reports for customers and account teams in an easily understood format.
Handling communication and managing escalated issues across the team accordingly.
Lead department initiatives and drive collaboration with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
Review and approve invoice/credit batches as required per CPS-103.
Work closely with Indirect Agent Market Management, National Distribution, Wireless Corporate and Market Finance, Supply Chain (including both forward and reverse Logistics), IT, Systems Management and Legal for issues related or impacting to equipment ordering, returns and website service issues that arise.

You’ll have strong analytical and creative problem solving skills, but you’ll also have a customer service orientation and be a great communicator who can interact well with a diverse range of people.
You’ll need to have:
Two or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint.
Prior experience with Google Drive.
Even better if you have:
A Business degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
Experience in the wireless communications industry with an understanding of billing systems, wireless equipment products and services.
Forward and reverse logistics and supply chain experience.
Customer service with strong experience working directly with customers.
Microsoft Dynamics / Great Plains experience.
Excellent leadership and training skills, self-motivated.
