Oracle Product Development Sales and Engagement Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE) team members are committed to ensuring that our customers are successful. Most of us have years of experience in Consulting, Pre-sales, or Product Management on Oracle Sales Cloud, CRM On Demand, Oracle Siebel, Oracle Netsuite, Oracle's E-Business Suite or other enterprise software.

A Regional Lead works alongside our customers, their systems integrators and our internal customer facing field organizations to ensure that implementation and innovation project activity plans are sound, work underway is progressing as planned and complex work and use cases are reviewed and assisted where required. Like the other Regional Leads, you will be noted as having an eye for detail, keen follow-through management of tasks for yourself and others, coupled with very high expectations of those you work with. You can manage a very large number of concurrent activities for many concurrent customer projects – your situational awareness and organizational skills are awesome. Your calmness, professionalism and focus on the objective is an inspiration to those you work with.

As you are the bridge between the customer and their Systems Integrator and Oracle’s engineering and operations teams, you will have the unique ability to shift your interactions from coaching and explanatory with customers, to precise and detailed when working with our engineering functions.

Roles and Responsibilities

You will interact regularly, primarily remotely, with the customer, their chosen implementation partner, Oracle's Cloud Service Delivery Managers and key Oracle executives to provide oversight during the Oracle Sales and Engagement Cloud implementation, ensuring all parties are aligned. This will include understanding the status of the implementation, discussion of any critical issues, and coming to agreement on appropriate action plans of resolution. You will act as a bridge between the customer team and Oracle Product Development as required. You will drive to closure any issues that put the go- live at risk, including defining ownership between the customer, the integration partner, and Oracle.

This is a high visibility position and you will typically be interacting with C-level executives, both within the customer’s IT, sales, marketing and service organizations and within Oracle. Therefore, excellent communication and executive level presentation skills are required, as requisite experience. In this role, you will be the customer’s trusted advisor. You will engage when the customer kicks-off their implementation and you will continue with the customer throughout their relationship with Oracle. Your objective is to ensure that the customer realizes the business benefits they hoped to achieve with their CRM, Service, and Service Knowledge Management initiatives. You will simultaneously engage with a variety of customers at any one time, from Fortune 500 customers to upper, mid-market customers.

Experience and Skills

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. This is a leading contributor, individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

  • BS or BA Business Administration, Accounting; MBA is a plus.

  • Project or Program Management designation such as a PMP, PMI, ECQA Certified PM, is desirable

  • At least 15 years of experience in enterprise software implementation.

  • Experience in setting IT strategy and leading business organizations through change is desirable.

  • Experience leading the implementation of enterprise-class, mission-critical applications.

  • Experience with CRM software and particularly, Oracle Sales Cloud, Siebel, Oracle CRM On Demand, Oracle Netsuite, or SFDC is desirable.

  • Sufficient knowledge of a broad set of SFA, service and service knowledge management processes so as to understand, direct, and communicate the issues between the relevant parties.

  • Familiarity with the capabilities of modern analytics reporting tools is desirable.

As part of the team you will make significant contributions to assist our customers, systems integrators and field service delivery organization through the implementation project while shaping product strategy and growth of our cloud applications.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
