IBM Service Parts Execution Buyer in VAC, Hungary

Job Description

The position holder is responsible for the following:

  • Create and manage Purchase Orders to designated suppliers (new buy, repair, broker buy)

  • Track PO deliverables, manage orderbook, collaborate with suppliers to enable on-time shipment of parts and to avoid/reduce past due orders

-Report delivery status, escalate supply issues at vendor and internally

-Handle / avoid incoming receiving issues

-Use SAP and CPPS for purchasing and logistics processes

-Handle Cisco orders via separate web tools

-Handle alternate source, open market, MVS and broker buy requests. Perform related RFQ and obtain approvals.

  • Participate in invoice problem handling: check and resolve problem invoice list, blocked invoices, received not billed items

  • Initiate expedite payments as needed
