MissionEssential Senior Task Order Area Manager Afghanistan in Afghanistan

The Senior Task Order Area Manager (TOAM) serves as the lead for all other TOAMs, responsible for all day to day management of staff and linguists located in Afghanistan. The Senior TOAM is conducts periodic reviews to assess program functionality, process improvement methodology, and makes recommendations to leadership. The Senior TOAM supports the oversees all functions associated with the administration, safety, health and welfare, and overall management of all linguistic support services that directly support United States military and / or coalition forces.; The Senior TOAM maintains appropriate oversight of important functions such as personnel accountability in proprietary Databases, proper timesheet submission, and proper accounting for Mission Essential and government equipment. The Senior TOAM provides communication and leadership to the TOAMs and is accountable to the success of all managing staff.Duties & Responsibilities:;• Report directly to and assist the Program Manager in executing all aspects of operations in support of the DLITE II program in Afghanistan to ensure the successful implementation of program objectives, maintain compliance with contractual and FAR regulations, and maintain accountability of all personnel in theater• Provide operational oversight and personnel management for staff and linguists in theater• Liaise with Military POCs, linguist managers, and ACORs to ensure linguist performance, safety, and compliance with contract requirements• Manage Site Management Team stakeholder relationships across theater• Report to government customers and internal stakeholders• Draft governance documents• Identify and analyze business process gaps and implement process improvement plans• Manage the collection, storage, management, and access of data• Respond to data calls• Identify performance gaps and implement capacity development plans for staff• Responsible for employee retention, morale and welfare• Maintain, update, and regularly check proprietary accountability databases• Works with military and government/civilian POCs and meet regularly to resolve issues when necessary; educate the TLM and POCs on the INSCOM Linguist Program and their duties and responsibilities as Government agents of the contract• Ensures staff and linguists maintain and account for all GFE, CFE, and Government issued property.• Provide written records to employee and self of periodic performance counseling• Know, abide by, and enforce the contract statement of work (SOW), company SOPs and General Order #1• Directly responsible for the technical and professional training of new staff and linguists• Travel within Afghanistan to visit staff, linguists and POCs
