Plays a central role by being a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and taking ownership for the delivery of appropriate solutions.Leads the organization's information management, information delivery, data quality and Business Intelligence functions.By leading these functions, the Senior Business Analyst will enhance data driven decision making capabilities, improve operational effectiveness and reduce costs. Leads and initiates new projects from conception to completion. Examples of new projects may include: The creation and development of system and process to centrally record and maintain information about law firms used across OpCos and geographies, including particular lawyers used, areas of expertise, internal colleagues who have worked with them and, to the extent possible, qualitative information like “ratings.” Project management of a new Document Management solution for Legal and Public Affairs.The Senior Business Analyst would work towards collecting information to aid in the selection of a system.This could include collecting “lessons learned” from the Documentum experience and ideas for change management planning (including ways to broadly champion for change among colleagues). Builds financial and operational models to simulate various scenarios and guide management decisions.Scenarios may include an increase or decrease in budget, a change in litigation activity, new policies, procedures, or regulations, etc. Analyzes and researches new and existing procedures and workflow requirements to develop current state designs of the business.Designs, document and implements future state business processes. Leads internal meetings and communicates progress and outcomes to stakeholders. Works with colleagues to build, test and publish dashboards to meet their specifications and requirements. Develops insightful and clear reporting and dashboards. Develops relationships with stakeholders to understand their objectives and business models to be able to expedite their reporting requirements. Extrapolates the reporting requests into analytics opportunities to further assist requesters. Maintains vendor management for all vendors with the exception of Outside Counsel. R042417-en R042417
