Summary

In this role you are part of the Applications International (EMEA, APAC & JAPAN) Program Management Office, within the Go To Market (GTM) & Business Development organisation.

The Strategic Program Director works with Executive Sponsors, Sales, GTM, Marketing and Oracle Digital and drives strategic programs from initiation to execution ensuring a programmatic customer engagement.

Programs may cover the following areas: Customer Experience (CX), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), EPM (Enterprise Performance Management), HCM (Human Capital Management)

Responsibilities

  • Work with key stakeholders to define and develop key strategic programs with a timely calendar

  • Drive programs against targeted deliverables by providing vision, strategy and approach

  • Coordinate all contributors to program delivery: creating detailed plan, delivering briefings, continuous improvement in contacts lists and campaign content, reporting on results, assessing campaign effectiveness and recommending areas of improvement

  • Promote best use of demand generation tools within sales teams and sharing of demand generation best practice between countries and teams

  • Delivers communications plan to management, stakeholders, relevant audiences as well as wider general communications via written documentation, presentations, website tools, email, verbal mechanisms or face to face meetings

  • Monitors program performance against established metrics and targets

Education & Experience

  • Program management/demand generation/marketing/operations/communications

  • Degree educated

  • Extensive international experience in working in virtual teams, preferably in a sales/marketing environment

  • Proven track record of effective and efficient execution of multi-country wide project/program management

  • Competent in spreadsheet / presentation creation and interpretation

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.

Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
