Director - Business Operations - NetSuite Professional Services

Preferred Qualifications

Summary:

Oracle's NetSuite Global Business Unit is seeking a

strong Professional Services Contracts Administration Director to enhance our

contract management process . The process will cover standard and

non-standard transactions legal document generation, maintenance, review,

compliance and modification. This role will partner with multiple internal

groups including the Services Verticals, Sales Operations, Finance and Legal to

maintain compliance, reduce risk, eliminate complexity and provide efficient

Customer support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop

templates and implement processes for a faster turnaround of consulting

engagement documents

  • Develop and

track metrics/KPIs for relevant to Contract Administration

  • Enforce compliance with Oracle’s business

policies and procedures

  • Develop and conduct trainings for relevant

process changes or where better compliance is needed

  • Assist and/or manage consulting approval

escalations

  • Work with Sales,

Consulting Operations, Legal and Finance to facilitate approvals, and signature

approval process for custom Statement of Works and Project work orders.

  • Participate

in contract negotiation process as necessary.

  • Mentor and

train Contract Analysts

  • Manage

assigned Contracts Analysts

  • Special

projects as needed.

  • Miscellaneous

reporting and process documentation.

Qualifications include:

  • 10 years’

related experience in the software industry, including consulting, operations,

contract and/or order management experience.

  • Bachelor

level degree required. MBA a plus.

  • Ability to

manage multiple and often conflicting priorities and deadlines

  • Excellent

written/verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to

write and understand technical documents

  • Solid

analytical and decision making skills

  • Strong

attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong

Project Management skills preferred

  • Strong

computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft

Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Previous

experience as a manager or team leader preferred

  • Ability to

work in a global environment, including remote management and willingness to

attend meetings outside regular business hours when needed

  • Ability to

work independently, prioritize and resolve problems

  • Ability to

work in a team environment

  • High level

of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative and commitment

  • Experience

creating, managing and maintaining shared contracts management databases,

including document imaging and reporting.

  • Demonstrated

ability to manage multiple, tactical deals while developing standard cross

functional processes and policies.

  • Experience using ERP

software applications. NetSuite experience a plus.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency. Provides business practices and processes. Drives policies and procedures that monitor and support the organization

  • s operational and financial business objectives. Provides analysis and advice to management in the areas of operations, resource management, finance, revenue accounting, pricing, and/or contracts. May also be responsible for administration, knowledge management, and/or communications.

Develops and monitor P&L forecasts. Develops and monitor metrics to measure other key performance indicators and group performance. Performs competitive analysis. Creates pricing strategy and cost accounting (business modeling) for projects. Reviews contracts for terms, pricing and approvals. Work with account team to close deals. Interfaces with client to resolve contract/delivery disputes. May be responsible for directing resource management staff, ensuring maximum utilization. May be involved with compensation and bonus process. Manage at least two direct reports.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired.
