As an expert in organizational transformation and enterprise implementations, the Transformation Advisor supports the Customer Success Manager and Professional Services team with strategic implementation problems that are blocking success for high value customers. Through discovery, problem identification and resolution planning, the Transformation Advisor helps customers transform their modern marketing and customer experience practices and achieve business success.

The transformation services delivered by a Transformation Advisor are strategic differentiators for the Oracle Marketing Cloud and Oracle CX Cloud. This senior role typically supports our most strategic enterprise accounts with complex marketing and organizational needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

This is an important customer-facing role within the Transformation Services team, part of the Oracle Marketing Cloud Professional Services Organization. It requires a dedicated senior professional with an exceptional ability to navigate customers’ organizational issues and communicate at an executive level.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working with the Director of Transformation Services to identify opportunities from accounts that would benefit from transformation guidance and to engage with Account Sales. Representatives, Customer Success Managers and stakeholders from the wider Oracle CX organization to position relevant service packages for customers.

  • Conducting assessments and interviews to understand customer’s current organizational state and issues impeding optimal marketing transformation.

  • Establishing immediate credibility with clients and within the company; can build consensus and achieve goals through influence.

  • Ability to review problem situations and to make strategic and tactical best practice recommendations

  • Developing digital marketing transformation roadmaps for customers.

  • Quantifying the business value of transformation opportunities.

  • Delivering transformation services and preparing recommendations related to the people, process, data and technology of customers.

  • Delivering Transformation Workshops for customers on a number of topics including: Developing a Modern Marketing Center of Excellence; Modern Marketing Skills & Roles; Sales & Marketing Alignment; Marketing Process Optimization; End to End Cross-Channel Campaign Strategy.

  • Presenting transformation recommendations in a report or presentation format as required.

  • Leading the strategic engagements with clients on behalf of the Oracle Professional Services and collaborating Oracle Expert, Architecture, Strategic, Technical and Implementation Consultants when required to ensure alignment of service delivery in accordance with set goals.

  • Monitoring the transformational progress of customers as they progress along their roadmap.

  • Working with both internal and external partners to identify relevant services offerings when required.

  • Advocating for product and services enhancements on behalf of customers.

  • Establishing a reputation as a digital marketing and transformation thought leader by publishing thought leadership content and speaking at events.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Significant experience driving digital transformation, preferably in or for Marketing and Sales departments

  • Experience in managing or facilitating at least one change initiative within one or more large scale enterprises

  • A good understanding of the common issues and challenges clients can face when embarking on a digital transformation

  • Experience facilitating across many departments with senior level executives

  • Good knowledge and understanding of digital technologies and platforms

  • Well-developed facilitation skills

  • Excellent speaking and presentation skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent time management and planning skills

  • Ability to influence and persuade

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college/university

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Multi-lingual and/or pan-Europe, Middle East and/or African work experiences

  • Experience with Marketing Cloud platforms such as Eloqua, Responsys and Maxymiser

  • Experience with CX platforms such as Oracle Bluekai DMP, Oracle Sales, Social Relationship Management and Service Clouds

  • Experience of a combination of delivery methods and frameworks, including waterfall, Scrum and Kanban

  • Management consulting, advisory, professional services and/or Big 4 consulting experience

  • Experience in supporting business expansion opportunities within existing accounts and bringing on new business opportunities

  • Proposal development experience including the ability to effectively sell business solutions to clients

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Drive the change required in organizational structure, culture, processes and architecture to achieve successful digital marketing/customer experience transformation projects.

Drive maximum adoption of Oracle solution and identify/drive service expansion opportunities via high value relationship with the client.

Responsible for maintaining a high level of client satisfaction by being a liaison between our clients and Oracle’s Professional Services. Identify service expansion/up sell opportunities. Provide input into the Transformation Services methodology and direction.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Recommended 10 to 15 years of professional experience. Demonstrated experience in package systems implementation (CRM, Marketing Automation, Consulting experiences) or client facing relationship experience. Understanding of various technical architectures and operating models. Industry experience is desired.

As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences difficult decisions at the leadership-level of customer organizations. Drives customer process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions. Creates new solution sets based on assessment of industry needs, market demands and knowledge of competitive product offerings.

10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience. Management or team leadership experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to lead large teams. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
