AT&T Senior Solutions Architect - IoT in France
We are looking for an Internet of Things (IOT) end device, embedded wireless module, and chipset technical expert who applies user experience, software development, design, engineering, and architecture experience to create high-value technical solutions and products for the Internet of Things.
Roles and Responsibilities:
∙ Convert business requirements into functional development documents
∙ Research and prototype new tools and technologies to meet new business requirements and evolving technical requirements.
∙ Provide innovative solutions to technical challenges
∙ Evaluate and implement solutions and technologies for team adoption
∙ Assess and communicate status, issues, risks and deliverables to stakeholders
∙ Be the “go-to” team member in domain(s) for application design and patterns
∙ Assist teams by hands-on coding including but not limited to: proof-of-concepts, code samples, and application infrastructure/frameworks
∙ Partnering with the stakeholders develop strategy, preform product presentations, whiteboards, participate in proof of concepts.
∙ Listen, understand, and analyze the prospect's business requirements and compose, validate, and present solutions
Key Competencies and Skills:
∙ Minimum of 5+ years of work experience in wireless communications industry
∙ In-depth experience in wireless service and architecture design in global IoT space
∙ Extensive knowledge/experience on wireless technology (GSM, 3G, LTE, IMS, etc.), network and devices, transport, VPN, IT, billing systems.
∙ Knowledge of key mechanical and environmental specifications for industrial and enterprise IOT devices (Example IP66, IP67 ratings, Shock, Vibration)
∙ Deep familiarity with top IOT device partners (Example CalAmp, Cradlepoint, Sierra etc.) in key verticals (asset tracking, security, modems, routers, computing, and many others)
∙ Deep knowledge base in LTE technology specifically in radio/RF and signaling stack, existing knowledge in LTE-M and NB-IOT highly desired.
∙ 5G wireless knowledge based desired
∙ Hands-on experience with network and device test equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills
∙ A foundation in device programming and configuration, basic software skills (Example Python scripting, C, Java, other)
∙ In-depth knowledge in AT&T wireline services/products (AVPN, etc.)
∙ Confident and comfortable with customer, peer, and leadership interaction with excellent communication skills, excellent inter-personal skills
∙ Strong written skills for developing presentation decks, technical documents, and email related to all topics in this job description
∙ Highly motivated self-starter, willing to take ownership and drive for deliverables
∙ Innovative and think outside of the box
Education and Qualifications:
BS, BBA (or international equivalent) in Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering. Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.
