EMEA Technology will appoint a Business Development Manager for App Integration, reporting into the Director EMEA Business Development Application Integration Sales. He/she will be expected to co-ordinate various resources in this area (architecture, marketing, product management, A&C, sales engineers, Insight teams etc).

The BDM position will thus be to be the “go to” point in EMEA for a number of Application Integration PaaS Services, and to manage a growing virtual team of cloud experts with the express purpose of improving our references in the provision of Application Integration PaaS solutions using Oracle.

The Application Integration PaaS Services this BDM will focus on are:

  • Oracle Integration Cloud

  • API Platform Cloud Service

  • SOA Cloud Service

All of these services can be consumed from the Oracle Cloud Platform Public Cloud,

In order to scale this business, the holder of this position will:

  • Be skilled in the practicalities of moving customers forward with the adoption of PaaS

  • Act as a point of aggregation to rapidly accumulate knowledge on Cloud PaaS as developed by Oracle

  • Advance opportunities created by Events/Sale Approaches using his/her contacts

  • Improve qualification of potential cloud opportunities

  • Identify and categorize cloud deployment "patterns"

  • Become a repository for competitors' positions on cloud

  • Become a focal point for product development

  • Become a source for the creation of marketing materials

  • Bring innovation thinking to the field teams

  • Conduct sales and presales enablement

  • Identify and support key partners

  • Run Sales Activity Execution for the three Application Integration Sales Activities

  • Manage Programatic Sales Campaigns

  • Manage the community of ADRs, feeding these teams with content, campaigns and best practices

  • Liaise with the community of ASRs and CPRs, supporting these teams with content and best practices

  • Support Major Sales Opportunities

  • Share best Practices pro actively across the EMEA Region

He/she will be highly articulate, self motivated and inventive individual. He/she will work directly with customers themselves, be an “evangelist” for Oracle PaaS offerings.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.

Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
