The market that Oracle is
operating in has undergone massive changes. To become a leader in the
cloud market, Oracle has to significantly increase our presence in the
market. Marketing has a key role to play in building Oracle’s brand
image as a Cloud vendor, and driving demand for our Cloud products.
We are looking for an experienced
marketer with strong leadership skills to head-up the field marketing
team for the South region, responsible for marketing PaaS, IaaS and
Systems solutions to the Iberia, Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe
region Named and Oracle Direct accounts.
As part of the EMEA Marketing
team, this role involves working closely with key stakeholders including
Sales VPs and their teams, Sales Development Managers, Digital Demand
Generation, Oracle Direct, Field Marketing managers, Corporate and
Product Marketing, Advertising, PR, Social Media, Operations, and
Alliances & Channels.
You will operate a multicultural, geographically distributed team and report directly to the Technology Marketing VP.
Managing the implementation of the integrated marketing communication plan across Iberia, Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe.
Drive awareness and demand for Oracle’s PaaS, IaaS and Systems products, particularly the Autonomous Cloud products.
Delivery the marketing KPIs for the region,including number of trials driven, increased account engagement,increased contactable customers in CxD, and increased and pipelinegenerated.
Lead a team geographically distributed across theregion to deliver the required results, providing direction andmentoring to your team.
Form direct relationships with your key sales andOracle Direct stakeholders, ensuring sales priorities are met withinyour marketing activities.
Work closely with other stakeholders that willhelp you meet your objectives e.g. the digital marketing team, BDG,customer marketing team, events team and social media team.
Define the marketing plan and manage budgets and scheduling
Oversee execution of the marketing plan.
Communicate regular progress updates to your key stakeholders.
A strong track record driving pipeline and awareness in the EMEA Cloud market.

Strong influencer andrelationship-building skills, great determination and drive, andexcellent execution skills are required to ensure that you can deliverhigh return marketing plans and strategies.
Deep knowledge of Marketing and Sales disciplinesand processes with a focus on Modern Marketing practices (Social Media,Digital/web, SEO/SEM, Marketing Automation, Content led Marketing,Inbound, Personas, Buyers journey, integration)
Spokesperson, Strong written and verbal communications skills in English.
Data Driven and analytical.
Knowledge of PaaS and IaaS in the Cloud and the way to successfully market it.
Budget & Project Management skills.
Ability to navigate large, complex & matrixed organisations.
Ability to understand and deliver Oracle strategy.
Seniority to address Oracle Executives.
Technical and strategic understanding of Technology and Systems solutions being marketed.
Experience with communities a plus.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market. Manages a staff of managers.
As a manager in product marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development of company marketing specifications for specific product(s) or product line(s). Manage marketing activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives. Monitor the development of business plans and business results of e-marketing. Manage lifecycles and product positioning in the market place. Identify customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns. Act as a technical advisor for specific product(s). Initiate and foster relationships with development, sales, and other groups to develop new products or enhance functionality of existing product(s) or product line(s). Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Practical internet knowledge. Software business management experience. 7 years technical marketing experience. Previous development experience or developer marketing experience desired. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Successful track record in management. BA/BS degree. MBA preferred.
