At EITC, we are currently looking for experienced IT professionals to join our Infrastructure COE (INFCOE) to provide 24x7 system Monitoring of Critical Eaton IT Systems including the Mainframe Consoles and all Critical IT Servers and components via established Monitoring methods. Respond to system requests as needed and resolve issues where possible. Make callouts to responsible teams as needed to ensure critical systems remain or are returned to operational status.

A. Monitor systems/applications as part of day to day Command Center Operations in 24x7 environments.

B. Use system and network tools to watch for interruptions in service or other pre-defined system events

C. Take predetermined, diagnostic or remedial action where defined

D. Open tracking tickets for service interruptions and set severity based on defined criteria

E. Ensure SLAs, schedule, quality and customer satisfactions are meet and exceeded.

F. Ability to prioritize and successfully handle multiple engagements simultaneously.

G. Responsible for achieving assigned metrics for the organization

H. Contact the appropriate second level support team to respond to each service interruption

I. Assist in problem resolution as directed by second level

J. Participate in shift hand-off to ensure seamless support at shift turnover

K. Expected to perform as a virtual extension of the Eaton Data Center organization


Skills (Functional):

H. Strong Understanding of Global Command Center, L1 Support Model and the Work Flow between L1 to L2.

Skills (Technical):

A. Knowledge of Data Center Technologies, Facility Maintenance, Wide Area Network and Security.

B. Knowledge of Operating systems like Windows, Unix, Linux, etc.

C. Knowledge of any system/application monitoring tools like Control-M, CA-7, HP Operations Manager etc.

D. Knowledge of Remedy.

E. 3-5 Years of IT Infrastructure Support Experience.

F. Education - Any Graduate
