Job Description

Summary:

The Principal Consultant – User Adoption specialty position is to provide leadership and support to the NetSuite Adoption Services Practice in the design, development, implementation, ongoing improvement and delivery of Transformation and Organizational Change Management initiatives. This position will work across multiple teams scoping and delivering services within our EMEA region.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the delivery lead for user adoption initiatives for NetSuite clients of all sizes

  • Collaborate with NetSuite clients to define long-term vision, goals and strategies for enabling change within their organization

  • Develop and execute user adoption and change management strategies to successfully facilitate the transformation from “current state” to “desired state”

  • Conduct organizational needs assessments, stakeholder analysis, and document business processes and systems

  • Design and deliver robust communications and stakeholder engagement plans including identification and definition of methods and channels in order to drive change within the client organization

  • Simplify difficult situations, models and issues to create executable actions

  • Partner with client leadership to ensure continued support for the change initiative and engagement

  • Manage project execution from start-to-finish and drive team efforts to deliver according to plan (scope, quality and time)

  • Manage numerous project deliverables across multiple areas of client engagements

  • Serve as a functional and subject matter expert to other consultants both on client engagements and within the company

  • Support the development of the user adoption practice by providing thought leadership and hands-on creation for new methodologies, tools, and templates

Desired Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Organization Psychology, Organization Development, Management Information Systems or Business Administration.

  • Master’s degree or post graduate coursework preferred.

  • 5 years of experience in executing ERP or large-scale initiatives including but not limited to organizational change, business process management, and systems implementations/conversions.

  • Experience working on initiatives for complex, global organizations.

  • Grounding in at least one widely used change management methodology or framework and an ability to be flexible and adapt to new methodologies.

  • Access to a wide range of user adoption tools and templates.

  • Project and change management skills in scoping, designing and delivering business and IT transformational activities.

  • Experience with software in a SaaS environment is helpful.

  • Experience working within a global organization is also helpful.

  • Up to 40% travel

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
