AT&T LMAC Engineer in Slovakia

You will be responsible for end to end customer’s Service Request per Change Management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Process, including project management tasks (liaising with 3rd parties, scheduling, execution of planned change request), customer single point of contact for assigned project

  • technical validation and preparation of the change request (configuration script), execution of the change during scheduled window, testing & troubleshooting, root cause analysis, producing technical documentation

  • project administration & data processing in internal tooling (multiple applications, dBs, tools)

Key Competencies and Skills:

  • IP and data routing technology and policies, network design

  • knowledge of network protocols: BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, MPLS, VRRP, HSRP, GLBP, etc.

  • security, NAT configuration, proxy server and firewalls

  • WAN technologies: Ethernet, Frame Relay, PPP, POS, ATM, DSL, ISDN, etc.

  • QoS, Multicast, VoIP, PVC/VRF-lite

  • Hardware: Cisco routers, switches, CSU/DSU, modems

Education and Qualifications:

  • university degree in technical field (Telecom/Networking) an advantage

  • strong English communication skills - both written & verbal (advanced level) an advantage

  • 2+ years of experience or adequate knowledge with Cisco configuration or network technical support 3rd level

  • project & change management experience is a plus

  • required CCNA, CCNP (routing & switching) is an advantage

  • customer handling & analytical skills

  • ability to work under pressure & flexibility

Additional Information:

Location: Kosice

Contract: Unlimited

Working hours: EMEA time zone with flexibility to work US EST hours + engineers are expected to be flexible and to support customers in different time zones (irregular events in the evenings/weekends)

Salary from 1600 € brutto per month. Actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.
