Combined Insurance Accounts Payable Processor in United States

KEY OBJECTIVE
To provide operations support for Accounts Payable Customer Service. This involves efficient completion of operational tasks within the defined timeliness and quality service level agreements while providing exceptional customer service.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Under limited supervision, assist the business units and support the organization by performing various operational support responsibilities to include but are not limited to: * Provide customer service via phone and email, responding and resolving inquiries promptly

  • Resolve customer concerns; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.

  • Work independently within PeopleSoft Financials with accurate review of disbursement requests and payment status

  • Complete assigned work within established service level agreements and quality standards

  • Liaison with business units and support organizations to facilitate completion of work requests

  • Establish and sustain the development, documentation and implementation of operational procedures for supported processes

  • Responsible for continuous examination of process steps to identify improvement opportunities

  • Work independently and within the team to make sound business decisions to accomplish performance goals

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong knowledge of end user software - Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

  • Ability to create reports from data

  • Ability to learn quickly and retain information

  • Extremely good organizational/time management skills

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Self-starter and ability to work in a fast paced team environment
