Vinnell Arabia AH-64E Mechanic in United States
Performs aircraft maintenance tasks on the AH64E as required using the specific OEM Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Check List Manual, and any other directives pertinent to the environment. Removes and installs aircraft systems and subsystem assemblies and components including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components. Services and lubricates aircraft systems, subsystems, and components. Prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks. Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions. Uses common measuring tools, precision measuring gages and alignment fixtures. Performs aircraft and related components routine and special inspections. Performs maintenance operational checks. Diagnoses and troubleshoots aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required. Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE). Prepares aircraft maintenance forms and records. Technical Inspector / Inspector Authorization duties include sign-off of all red ‘X’ and circle red ‘X’ conditions pertaining to the aircraft systems, and aircraft components. Technical inspector of all specific airframe, power-train, power-plant, armament, electrical and avionics systems. Determines requirement to conduct a Maintenance Test Flight (MTF) / Maintenance Operational Check (MOC), and provides inspection criteria interpretation to maintenance staff. Uses common measuring tools, precision measuring gages and alignment fixtures (GFE). Conducts MNG OJT training as required. Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.
Ensures that AH-64E Aircraft maintenance functional activities and procedures among designated organizations are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness objectives.
Responsible for the compliance with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform readiness rates.
Establishes daily maintenance operational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in-order to achieve stated readiness rates and MNG training objectives as required.
Oversees the daily maintenance management of individually assigned aircraft in support of the Production Control (PC) Manager.
Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
Directs inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance of Aircraft and supporting maintenance activities to the PC Manager.
Supervises individuals as assigned.
Ensures all maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner.
In coordination with the PC Manager, supports the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) process and procedure.
Performs quality technical inspection of aircraft, equipment, vehicles, aircraft components, parts, and systems (including avionics, electrical, instrument and armament) as required by functional assignment.
Performs quality and safety inspections of on-site equipment and tools used in aircraft maintenance, vehicles, and equipment
Performs in-progress and final quality technical inspections during maintenance, repair, modification, rework, and overhaul of aircraft, aircraft components, and component parts.
Inspects job procedural forms and maintenance forms used in the performance of aircraft maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenance to assure compliance with approved methods and procedures.
Assists in preparation, processing, and answering of Quality Deficiency Reports (QDRs). Assists in aircraft accident investigations, prepares estimated cost of damage reports as required.
Establishes the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, standards, measures, and reports in support of the maintenance program and in coordination with Supply Chain Management (SCM) activities.
Directs inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to Quality control maintenance processes and supporting maintenance activities, to the QC Manager.
Ensures all Quality control maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner.
Other tasks as directed by the PC Manager.
B. Independence: Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Retains the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
C. Supervisory Responsibilities: As assigned.
*Education Level Requirements: *
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Five (5) years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic on AH64 series aircraft.
US Military or civilian technical inspector experience.
*Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications, and Ability Requirements: *
Graduate of a US Military aircraft maintenance course or civilian equivalent training and experience.
Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.
Proficient in MS Office software.
Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
Possess a valid US issued driver’s license and passport.
Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
Desired/Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:
Recent aircraft mechanic experience on AH-64E.
Aviation Technical Inspector (TI) experience.
IA licensed or military certified TI.
Five (5) years’ maintenance experience on AH-64E aircraft.
