Job Description

The Distribution & Industrial Sector Leader is an Industry Expert with responsibilities for setting and driving a go-to-market strategy for the IBM Global Markets (GLM) in ASEAN (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam). Your primary focus is to create and drive (together with the country team) large transformational deals in your sector. You must be able to articulate industry trends and directions that matters for the 6-respective marketplace that delivers client value through disruptive and innovative ideas that aligns with IBM’s Cloud and Cognitive technology capabilities.

You will develop strategic deep executive client relationships to become their trusted advisor and drive new l arge opportunities, consistent profitable and sustainable growth outcomes. You will apply deep industry insights around IBM’s integrated solutions offerings to address the client’s business issues and strategic priorities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Mature Leadership profile with at least 10 years of sales management with C-level client facing experience, strong operational and P&L skills in leading sales and business development in Distribution & Industrial Industry (Retail, Chemical & Petroleum, Aerospace & Defense, Electronics, Automotive, Industrial Products)

  • Bold strategic thinker with a growth mindset who seeks out opportunities, challenges status quo and proposes solutions

  • Charismatic leadership, one who inspires, coach, motivates team to achieve objectives and outcome oriented

  • Strong team player and collaborator who is adept to working across the various teams, stakeholders locally and globally

  • Has worked in a highly diverse environment across multiple geographies, leading cross cultural global teams and embraces diversity and inclusion

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written communication skills in English

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
