Kuluva, Armijo & Garcia, insurance defense firm, seeks a San Francisco experienced and skilled California litigator for the position of Casualty Attorney. The Casualty Attorney will defend a caseload of the firm's high exposure and complexity matters throughout Northern California in both state and federal venues.

_Job Requirements:_ The successful candidate must be an attorney licensed to practice before California’s State and Federal Courts, should possess 15 years of demonstrated success in litigating at trial and on appeal a wide range of California tort matters, and should possess the professional stature and business acumen needed to be a productive member of the firm.
The successful candidate should also possess: * Enthusiasm and aptitude for trying cases to a jury, with demonstrated successful trial experience preferred * Deep knowledge of California State and Federal Court procedural law, pleading, discovery, motion practice and pretrial techniques and strategies * Advanced oral and written advocacy skills, with a demonstrated track record of summary judgment and/or appellate success. * Cutting edge knowledge of the substantive law applicable to California casualty defense litigation, with advanced analytical skills needed to address complex legal issues. * Proficiency in effectively and strategically communicating with clients, Claim Department customers and law firm colleagues regarding litigated matters. * Demonstrated, deeply- ingrained enthusiasm and skills necessary to provide excellent customer service to clients, claim examiners, internal customers within firm * The technological savvy to thrive as a litigator in a digital environment * Strong team player willing to work effectively with others, at all levels and to step outside a defined role where required to advance the firm's business * Ability to work independently, efficiently and carefully in a high volume environment * Excellent time management and organizational skills and attention to detail
