Auto Claim Vendor Manager
At Chubb, this position primarily manages all auto material physical damage vendor relationships for North America, but can also operate across other lines of business. The objective is to maximize the performance of our vendor relationships through the establishment of rigorous metrics and service standards, and to drive cost savings across all spend areas.
TheAuto Claim Vendor Manager will be responsible to:
Manage all auto material physical damage vendor relationships
Identify changes in technology as well as new auto material physical damage vendor offerings in the marketplace and bring them to the auto discipline to evaluate for potential adoption
Utilize the RFP (Request for Proposal ) process for new vendors and establish pilots with those vendors as needed
Negotiate rates and service offerings to move new vendors to contracting
Work with the auto discipline to manage compliance with all program guidelines and establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Work with the auto claim discipline to establish metrics and scorecards to measure auto material physical damage `vendors performance
Drive service and savings across auto material physical damage vendor spend categories
Management and oversight of auto vendor programs / initiatives such as MAPS, CEI and CCC
Manage all auto material physical damage vendor related issues not resolved at the branch / Auto Tech Specialist (ATS) level
Ensure resource capacity during CAT’s and high claim volume
The ideal candidate for this position brings a high level of technical experience in auto material physical damage and strong negotiation skills. Knowledge of the role vendor’s play within the existing discipline and organization is also key.
The candidate will need to be able to look at the current use of auto material physical damage vendors and develop future state utilization and continued process improvement in collaboration with the auto claim discipline to maximize the benefits of engaging vendors.
The key focus will be to drive performance, customer satisfaction and cost management. As the role will work closely within the discipline, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills will be critical.
