Chubb is currently seeking a Personal Risk Services/Business Development Manager/to join our team in the New York City office.
The PRS Business Development Manager plays a key role in the development and achievement of departmental goals relative to profit, growth and expansion of market share for Chubb PRS business. Accountable for the profit, growth and retention of a book of business that's part of a $400 million department. Analyze performance of assigned agents and implement appropriate business plans to maximize results. Responsible for building and maintaining effective long-term relationships through focused travel, superior service and producer education. Maintains a high level of awareness of marketplace activities and products and develops strategies for competitive advantage.
Experience with a solid underwriting foundation is preferred.
Must be exceptionally strong in marketing, producer management, and relationship development.
Candidate should also possess strong oral and written communication skills, as well as effective presentation and negotiation skills.
He/She should have the ability to maintain a high level of awareness of marketplace activities and products and develops strategies for new business acquisition and key client retention.
Individual works closely and maintains a high level of contact with our partners in the Underwriting Center to maximize growth and profit across all agency relationships.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 2-5 years of underwriting experience
