Combined Insurance Claim Supervisor, Property in United States

As a Claim Supervisor, you are accountable for:
Ensuring the delivery of timely and efficient claim service through the daily supervision of a Property Claim team that may include Mainline and IA Unit Examiners, providing best in class service.
Providing technical guidance to staff on claim coverage, investigation, reserving, evaluation and resolution of claims.
Reallocating work and resources daily and weekly to ensure all service requirements are met and exceeded.
Identifying trends within the department and providing analysis and solutions to ensure staff engagement.
Providing coaching and training to improve staff technical knowledge and case management skills
Delivering timely performance management feedback and reviews to claim staff
Effectively controlling the use, work product and expenses of outside vendors
Ensuring staff adhere to authority levels.
Effectively consulting and interfacing with Property Tower SDRs, RDMs, and Supervisors on files with high complexity and severity in order to deliver positive outcomes.
Monitoring team morale, engaging the staff, and developing strategies to resolve issues and drive positive engagement that support Department and Branch objectives, goals and strategies.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external customers.
Actively participate in committees and task force projects.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High level of expertise in all aspects of Property claims adjusting
Extensive knowledge of insurance contracts, investigation techniques, legal requirements and insurance regulations
Innovative thinker with ability to multi-task
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people
Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment
An aptitude for evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting information
An ability to work well in teams

Both Personal and Commercial experience is preferred
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of property claims experience
