Responsibilities: An outstanding opportunity exists for a student seeking to gain marketable financial skills and experience in the exciting area of International Reinsurance and Finance in a team-oriented environment. Job Duties: Assist management in the analysis of Large Loss activity as submitted by Chubb Overseas General (COG) offices to determine the appropriate sharing of loss exposure between Chubb and Non-Affiliated Reinsurers. Support analysis of general ledger account balances, including cash and Broker/Reinsurer accounts. Use written and verbal communication skills to interact with Global Treaty’s Internal (Claims, Underwriting, etc.) and External (Brokers and Reinsurers) Service Partners. Complete/record journal vouchers and assist in the testing of systems related enhancements as required. Provide accounting support/analysis and other work on special projects as appropriate.
Qualifications • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills • Strong verbal and communication skills • Proficiency in Excel and Access • Accounting or Finance major preferred
